Nice green space for a stroll and not far from the city centre. Some of the areas need a bit of tidying up. The animal section is good to watch the birds and guinea pigs, who never seem to be full up despite being fed...More

Just grabbed a bit of sunshine before a big downpour. Lovely park, clean and well maintained. Plenty of kids facilities, a cafe and monuments.

A little bit run down, but still free and a great place to relax or take kids to see the animals. Would benefit from the council investing in to it.

Beautiful park to stroll around and have lunch in the lovely cafe nearby. The park could do with some younger children's stuff to play on as it as there is not much else for them to play on.

As a boy I would beg my mother to take me to see the birds in the Aviary in Southampton, I grew up and took friends children etcetera to the Aviary, then the council got rid of it!!! I was furious, the Aviary was free...More
