Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We met with friends for a picnic on a busy bank holiday afternoon, parking was at a premium as you can imagine but once out it didn’t seem very busy for the amount of vehicles. We picnicked in the tabled area then went for a lovely walk in the forest. At no point did it feel over crowded, it was a very lovely spot with lots of nature on offer

Really enjoyed having a stroll through the woods on a sunny day during the August bank holiday weekend. Our 2 year old daughter loved running about, climbing on logs and checking out the wildlife.

Excellent gravelled paths through woods and suitable for a two to three mile walk. Hilly in places. Good for dog walkers. Plenty of benches en route and you may see deer. Off the paths it can be very muddy after rain. Lots of free parking and well signposted.

Wilverley Plain is an open area in the heart of the New Forest, during the second World War the area was used to grow food for the war effort. Today it is managed by the Forestry Commission and it is very well maintained. There is a lovely circular walk through the forest on a well kept path. Its about 2.5miles and a gentle walk will take just under an hour. Its a nice place to picnic, there is a purpose built BBQ area which can be hired and there is plenty of wildlife to observe. A tranquil and pleasant area in the Forest.

dog enjoyed a long walk.,Toilets on site and an outside tap to clean a very muddy dog. The track driving into the park needed a bit of attention as it was full of pot holes.

Stopped here to use the toilets before going to another part of the forest. Noticed there were picnic tables and an ice cream van.
