Behind the coffee shop is an art gallery which at the moment is displaying photographs taken in various war zones. The main performance space was closed when we visited.

I love this place for music ..., the acoustics are awesome and it always feels special. Loads of parking virtually opposite and easy to find.

Took a while to find the coffee shop on here and after reading the reviews I am sure this is the right one. An unusual coffee shop, with a split bar. It was a quiet afternoon, but I still had to wait a while for...More

While it's on, do go and see this amazing work of art on display in the St Mary's Crypt (entrance through the restaurant) — a 33-year labour of love by one man and his daughter from New Zealand to recreate the entire Bayeux Tapestry as...More

Through the cafe, not up the slope. Such a gem of an old building. You don't imagine it could be as beautiful as it is. Go!

The entrance is through the cafe. Signage is poor, so don't walk up the slope to the church as we did. A great exhibit that was well worth the time and effort to get there. The exhibit is amazing to see. The time and effort...More

Beautiful show put on by The contemporary dance group. Of Alice in Wonderland. Was greatly enhanced by the lovely feeling inside the Castle. Easy to get to.with a car park right opposite on the sea front.

Some have left revues of the cafe here and it is NOT the right place to do so. This ex-church is now a music/concert venue and worth a visit. It has a capacity of 1,066 (!) and where the vicar once preached has been changed...More

Wow, enter through the café entrance and climb a short set of stairs and you are into the main arena. St Mary's was a former Church and is steeped in history. Now used as a music venue the acoustics are wonderful. Well worth a visit.
