My granddaughters first time and she sang all the time going up and down, much to the amusement of the other people as they were filming. She is only 7 mths old.

Something unusual for the family to experience. The children enjoyed it, it took less than 15 minutes return. Prices are very reasonable.

The views from the top are amazing. Absolutely worth the small fee to get up to the top. We had a great time.

Always love a trip on the cliff trains and still low cost at £3 for an adult return. The children were really excited and enjoyed it so much. Easy way to get to the smugglers adventure.

Visted with two adults two children to east hill to visit the country park area (west hill is hastings castle) cost £9 return, card accepted, around 2 minutes to the top with great views, you could take the steps for free.

We only did the East Hill ride but it was sensational. It doesn’t last long & the views from the railcar are great both going up & down as are the views from the top of the hill. Highly recommend it.

First time going up the cliff and we really enjoyed it. Very short but the views are really pretty and there are plenty different areas to walk too. Ice cream truck up there too

The West and East Cliff funicular railways are both well over 100 years old. They are a great snapshot in time of how Hastings might have been around the beginning of the 20th Century. Although your ticket is for a return ride, we took the...More

We took this up to go to The smugglers experience, we then walked down into town but you can use the ticket as a return.

One of the last railways of its kind. If you visit Hastings, this is a must. Great engineering, great views, great experience. Don't forget to visit the cafe next to the castle. Brilliant!.
