We travelled both the East and West hill lifts. Lots of fun having never experienced either since visiting Hastings hundreds of times! Highly recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Good for families large parks and walks up the top of the cliffs.

Really interesting funicular railway. Very friendly staff. Great views from the top and the opportunity to wander in the country park as well as the castle.

A short ride but great little adventure for little people. Excellent views from the carriage and reasonable pricing a great add on when visiting the old town area

I went to Hastings on a day trip on a 'just for fun' outing with some very good friends. The views are breathtaking.

We went up on the East Cliff side and loved the views. Be warned the West Cliff side is closed at the moment which we only realised after climbing to the top!

This trip up the side of the cliffs gives you spectacular views over the town and the seafront. Both lifts are over 100 years old but still providing a spectacular service. One up the top there is plenty of room for a picnic and to...More

I only used them on a day trip when I was in the area. Would suggest you check the web page as it may alter at time of year.
