Visited harvester near asda on the marina, first time my steak was so bad that I couldn't even cut through it with a steak knife, thought I would try again, 4 of us ordered chicken and it was overcooked, dry, tough that you need the gravy for moisture. Absolutely awful ☹

We were staying in an apartment at the marina whilst on holiday. Our apartment had a nice view over the main marina and was right at the end away from the commercial shopping / bar area. The commercial area itself was obviously quite nice once upon a time but areas are starting to look a bit run down. There were lots of different places to eat on the main marina side itself but the shopping area is a bit lacking and there are lots of empty units. We were going to walk around the outside of the marina on the marina wall, but it was closed. The marina is about a 20 minute walk from the city centre, you can use the Volks railway or there is more than enough parking. If your after a day out, it certainly isn’t that, but you could spend a few hours here.

Half business were closed, a lot of empty units. Wetherspoons pub was appalling! It was like a ghost town and this was half term week! We definitely won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to visit!

The Brighton Marina was easy to get to and with 4 hours free parking to boot! The views of all the boats was excellent and we enjoyed a stroll along the front and also a great meal in one of the restaurants overlooking the marina! I would recommend it to anyone looking to round off their day out in Brighton ❤️

writing a review of the marina car park and walkways around the marina as others seem to generalise certain restaurant's, we found the car park boardwalk and general marina side clean and tidy however certain areas had rubbish and graffiti problems, all the places to eat and the hotel we stayed at were clean and tidy. Local Asda great for last minute things for your hotel room, speaking of staying there the Malamaison was great, clean and tidy, the West Quay pub was a big letdown as we have been to several Weatherspoons and this was by far below par. Boatyard was a bit inactive but more down to the time of year, quite a few shops and restaurants are now shut down so makes the area a little bit hit and miss. Plus side is the free car park and the bus stop close by
