Brilliant individual shop for the book lover . Lots of interesting quirky features and friendly helpful staff. Loved the lucky dip idea of buying a pre wrapped book merely based on a description of its story or theme . Open air seating area and worth...More

It was great to see a bookshop in a relatively small village, so many bookshops have closed down recently. However the second-hand section was disappointing and There was limited selection of new books, though what they did have was top quality

This place is wonderful. Not at all a tourist trap, but a quality bookshop for all ages. I loved the measure on the wall with all the author heights. Beautifully in keeping with the whole village image.

An amazing Bookshop in the heart of Alfriston. Every book you could wish for plus more and lovely cards. Great for shopping for gifts or just for yourself.
