Stopped for lunch as was dog friendly and has a nice garden out the back instead of being holed up on a bench eating Fish and Chips and had a very pleasant meal. Service was friendly and unrushed despite it being a busy weekend on...More

We visited the pub for lunch and only required a small meal, sandwiches/snack. Was drawn to the seafood chowder served with crusty bread. Chowder arrived and was nothing more than a thin creamy sauce with the addition of thick sliced leaks, sliced new potatoes and...More

Ate here on Saturday night. Dinner for 4 adults and 4 kids. Good food although the wait was a bit long. Nice selection of beers and cider. We did not book. The place is dog friendly. Thanks for a good meal guys.

I knew that I was going to be disappointed when, after ordering and taking my seat, I had only about 4 minutes with the newspaper before the food arrived. The pie was not very warm, nor the mashed potatoes, and lacking real taste. On the...More

A good range of real ales for my husband. A beer garden - good for children. Food is served in the beer garden and it does have an indoor restaurant. We didn't eat there so cant really comment on the quality of the food.
