This is a small museum but it has lots of artifacts and tells you masses about the area it is well worth visiting and the staff are very friendly and helpful

Popped in here by chance when raining in Swanage. Lots to see with a good display of local history in the town. Can get very crowded, but other than that, a good asset to the town and a great place to visit before exploring the...More

We popped in for a quick visit and my kids liked the different stones and gems. Not a big or particularly swish venue, but well presented and designed to educate you in an enjoyable environment. Worth a look if you're nearby.
