We came here for a couple of pints on Christmas eve and it was excellent. Great selection of real ales and all locally brewed. My father Mike comes here often and its great to see a local place like this doing do well. We'll worth...More

What a fantastic find. A little micro pub offering something genuine different to the various other locals. Love the friendly set up attentive bar staff coming to you to refresh your pints. Great selection of ales and cracking scotch eggs. Highly recommended and will be...More

The Wight Bear is by far my favourite place to drink in Bournemouth. The staff are always serving with a smile on their faces and the clever layout of the tables and seats encourages conversation, which is sorely lacking in other drinking establishments. If you...More

The Southbourne area certainly needed somewhere selling decent beer. This small room is a good start although the Spartan facilities might not be to everyone's taste, my partner who isn't the tallest struggled with her legs swinging under her when she managed to climb up...More

Popped in to check this place out. I've been to a few pubs of this type & I thought that this lacked it's own identity. I would have preferred a bar area as apposed to waiting to be served by a 'beer handler'. The beer...More
