A wonderful place to sup on fabulous flavours beer or cider the list is extensive - peaceful (no tech allowed) its a civilised sup in a traditional manner - well worth a visit or two or even three

Friends of ours live up the road from this place and when staying with them we walked up for a drink. The experience is different but good. There is a board of beers and wines etc on the wall when you go in. Butchers tables...More

This is an amazing place to experience. Good selection of local beers, ciders and spirits. Everyone is friendly, so easy to make new friends.

Always a great choice of drinks, great service, friendly staff and yummy scotch eggs! I often pop in here for a paddle (3 x 1/3 pint drinks) after a run !

No phones no music Just really good beers and interesting snacks Chili pickled eggs with just enough bite!! Knwledgable friendly staff make the experience really good

Walked in to be greeted by a really strong smell of Dettol - odd for a busy place on a Saturday night. I had a porter which wasn't bad. No music and benches around the edge of the room, with a sort of weird loitering...More

A really excellent place for a drink, some really interesting beers, and no phones, loud music or sky sports, which is always good. Quite small so I guess it could get crowded at weekends, but definitely recommended
