The Friday/ Saturday market is well worth a visit; although I prefer Fridays. The veg stalls are excellent value of local Devon grown produce. There is a bread stall that sells cheesy bread and other such flavours - excellent, and do not be put off...More

Totnes is a very interesting Town with lots of cafes, restaurants, dress shops, galleries, craft and independent shops. Plenty to look at. The market, I think is on Fridays and Saturdays, up the top of the town. There are antiques stalls, stalls that sell freshly...More

Have been coming to totnes market for a number of years now. It is worth a look but it used to be far better. There are some nice food stools and quirky gifts. Mostly junk the other side of the under cover bit but expensive!...More

Would recommend visiting on a Friday or Saturday to visit the market as is worth it. Bought a lovely homemade brownie that melted in my mouth. Had everything from furniture to vintage clothes and cheese.

Totnes is a small city and it has a small market. You can find here old stuff and new, antiques, clothes, hats, fruit and more. Just off the main street of the old city.

Totnes on a Friday - market day! Always lovely local and artisan produce - cheese bread, cakes, meat and fish - alongside hemp products, new and vintage clothing, handmade and second-hand furniture, jewellery and bric-a-brac. Fridays in Totnes are always a good place to be!

I am not sure that this is the place to find a bric-a-brac bargain but appreciated the range of offerings which included rugs, vintage, second-hand clothing silver jewellery, hemp products, some artist supplies and an excellent skirt stall. Great coffee stand and what looked to...More
