Come in two or three times a year. The decor may not fit but the atmosphere and customers combine to come closest to the old public bar feel that has been lost from any other pub I know in the city. No messing, no precious...More

Forced to come here by my partner who said it was good, to be treated like crap and called mental because the brunette working on 8/6/18 didn't have a sense of humour. Get some decent staff. I'm disgusted with the behaviour of her. I'd never...More

Good pub for a good drink with friends but keep a look out as it does have a reputation for fighting. If you want a quiet drink I wouldn't recommend it. If you like a laugh and banta and don't mind being in the thick...More

Doesn't change much over time. Always got a fair number of punters including when it first opens and through till kicking out time. It's a dark tunnel so there are always people out at the front by the pavement.

Not somewhere I would come regularly but it has an interesting feel. Lot of hard looking guys, some flirty and other mellow biker women. An old fashioned dynamic round the pool table. I wouldn't like to cross anyone inadvertently. Fascinating to watch, as long as...More

Not my pub of choice but sometimes mates lure you in. I generally feel cautious and uneasy in here but that said, twice this winter I have had an entertaining few pints in here.
