Water Lilly Hot Tub Lodge A well positioned spacious Lodge with great views across Woodpecker and Kingfisher lakes, fully fitted out modern kitchen with large fridge freeze, dishwasher, oven Micro etc, because of COVID we took all our food with us and cooked mostly in the lodge, Big Mistake............! the food in the club house is absolutely gorgeous, well presented, stacked high and very reasonable, more on that below, Two double bedrooms with comfy double beds, smart TVs walk in wardrobe, and each with they're very own En'suites with piping hot powerful showers, again spacious lounge area with kitchen and dining all in the same room, this creates a lovely social hub, wine fridge and large screen TV. also included full Wi-Fi to each lodge, and 4G phone signal double bonus, lovely large decking area with Hot Tub glass Balustrading to admire the views and gate to secure your personal items or your loved ones, Club House very spacious and well designed thanks to Stuart and Emma, almost as if it was designed around COVID and social distancing, They are very COVID aware and safe, but still leaving a great Vibe to the club house, Food: we've eaten at the club house many many many times but made the mistake of bringing food this time (because of COVID) DON'T,,,,,,,the food is awesome, plenty of it, well cooked. well presented and very reasonable on cost, lovely well stocked bar, great music and hotel style toilets, Fishing 7 Lakes, Kitchen is our favourite, i believe the original lake, Roach, Chub, Bream and carp, averaging 10lb but they do go to just over 20lb, all baits work here, Jenny Wren is second favourite for some Quality Tench fishing, Summing Up I've been to Kingslakes many times in the larger lodges with a small group of gents, Kingslakes by far is way up there as our best place to stay, (and yes we've been to Anglers Paradise, clawford vineyard & Docklow to name a few) finally managed to convince our ladies to attend upon the arrival of the new Lodges, let me just say, this was they're first time away with both us gents fishing, and they loved it so much so they've confirmed this will now be a yearly visit, they did fish alongside us a couple of times, chilled out the rest and visited Bude and Bideford Shopping thank you for an enjoyable if not wet week x

It is our last day at Kingslakes today and we’ve had a fantastic week. The lodge was great, clean, warm and very well equipped. We’ve eaten in the clubhouse every evening except Thursday when it’s closed and the service and food is great - fab fish and chips! A wonderful relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. Caught some great fish, bream, tench, crucian, roach, chub ....the ‘carpers’ we’ve spoken to have also had great fishing. Booked again for next September. Can’t fault it. Book it! Photo is from our balcony packing up on the last day.

We stayed in one of the new lodges which had a hot tub and overlooks the Kingfisher lake. The lodge was beautifully kitted out with top quality furniture and gadgets, and the cleanliness was excellent. Our lodge had 4 bedrooms, 2 of which had an en-suite shower room and their was one large family bathroom. Unfortunately we had really bad weather for the whole of our 7 day stay, but this didn't put us off fishing! We fished most days on the Kingfisher lake, which is a specimen lake. We both caught some lovely fish, which were in perfect condition. Our biggest catches were 14lb 6oz & 14lb 1oz. We also ate a few times in the club house, the food is excellent! no need to travel off-site, the bar is extremely well stock and reasonably priced too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kingslakes. Emma and Stuart are really friendly and they have made lots of fantastic improvements. We hope to return to Kingslakes in 2021.

This was a late booking as our yearly fishing trip to Ireland was cancelled. We hasterly looked around for a fishing alternative and thankfully fell on our feet by booking Kingslakes. We booked into Courtyard Cottage and for four blokes it had everything we needed. The fixtures and fittings are a little dated but as we spent 8-10 hours fishing it fitted what we needed, clean bedrooms, hot shower and decent kitchen. The club house is fine, decent food , bar and friendly service. The place is remote but forward research will tell you that. We had a full 7 days of terrential rain and its a credit to kingslakes that we left happy and contented. Well done Kingslakes

Just come back from a lovely week at Kingslakes , weather not brilliant but it is a good base from which to explore. We stayed in one of the new Hot tub lodges with our daughter , son in law , two year old grandson & eight month twins. Lodge was excellent, very clean , well equipped & lovely decor throughout. We are not into fishing but still lovely to walk around the lakes & watch what is happening.
