Visited early on a Saturday morning, it was very quiet. Entry fee was reasonable. Organ music was very impressive. Would love to visit again and go on a rooftop tour.

Visited on a very hot day and the interior was welcome relief. My support Dog was allowed to accompany me. Each time I come here I find something new. I sacrificed lunch as I could not afford lunch AND entry fee. I appreciate it costs...More

Architectural masterpiece! Absolutely stunning, but not worth the £8 entry fee! Enjoy the cathedral greens on a sunny day!

Not sure why we have to pay in order to get in to a holy place like this. It is ok to ask for a donation once inside but to charge a fee to get in was disappointing. So just looked outside and returned home.

Beautiful cathedral. Beauty on the outside and the inside. Acoustics was amazing as well. Attended a choral and orchestral performance and we were allowed to wander about before the start of the show. I notice to red doors not sure of the significance.

Not visited as someone just looking around for ages. Last time I went was to see my husbands graduation ceremony there, which was obviously free then. I am off to Cornwall on holiday next week and on looking at Truro Cathedrals website, it stated this:...More

We spent several hours in the Exeter Cathedral one afternoon. The exterior does not catch one's eye, although the ediface at the front is fascinating. The admission charge is reasonable considering the maintenance of such an ancient monument. The interior is breathtaking--the ceiling is one...More

Entrance fee too expensive for the time we had, and others had felt it a little too much. However walking around the outside was a good experience

No need to book, but turn up early for a seat! Search online for "Exeter Cathedral midnight mass".

In 2014 we were able to seat everyone who wished to attend the service. Based on last year's experience you shouldn't need to worrying about arriving before 4pm. This year we are also celebrating a late communion service at... More
