What a lovely place...and the staff and clergy so friendly and approachable. Went on the hour long guided tour. Then spent time revisiting places that sparked interest and had a mooch in the extensive gift shop where I was able to add to my green...More

We visit the Cloisters on a regular basis and the food is always of a high standard. Very reasonable and the location is near the town centre.

We recently went on the roof tour with our guide Graham who was excellent in every way. We really enjoyed the tour learning about the history and the architecture of the cathedral over the past centuries. It really is a truly amazing place to visit....More

Cathedral very impressive on the outside. Also on the inside. There is a charge of I believe £7 per adult person to get in.

After having visited Exeter Cathedral more than once we decided to add a bit of an adventure to our experience and booked a Cathedral Roof Tour. It was very instructive and of course we had a wonderful view from the roof.

Nice area surrounds the cathedral. The remains of the Royal Clarence hotel fire is being worked on and has informative signs up which is interesting. The cathedral itself is mind blowing. A must see.

Lovely Cathedral but to get the most out of your visit take a guided tour which takes about one hour. Probably not suitable for young children. Tour guide was very interesting.

I liked the cathedral and the area surrounding it. A nice place to be when visiting Exeter. The green around is spacious and a nice place to gather around with friends or to read a book

The cathedral inside itself is very grand. But more attractive to me was the outside and its lawns. Nice place to sit and have a coffee with the grand cathedral towering above in the background. Great place to be around.

So much history. Lovely grounds and restaurants looking over it. All the figures carved over the building amazingly preserved.

In 2014 we were able to seat everyone who wished to attend the service. Based on last year's experience you shouldn't need to worrying about arriving before 4pm. This year we are also celebrating a late communion service at... More
