Children love it here. There’s lots of walking involved so if you have tiny children they will definitely need some help getting round. There’s so much to see and do and is a wonderful day out for families in summer

Been a few times to the zoo now, and it's always intresting to see some of the animals they have. Also worth taking the time to plan seeing some of the feeding or talks that go on throughout the day. I would recommend taking a...More

This has to be the best zoo we have ever been to. The zoo is mapped out in a fun interactive way that makes the walk around very enjoyable. The enclosures are very expansive for the animals and yet provide ample opportunity for visitors to...More

Went to the lantern event. I was delightfully surprised at how beautiful they had set up everything from false snow to beautiful light displays. Fabulous for children and adults. Well done staff at Chester Zoo.

We decided to book the lanterns at Chester zoo to be quite honest I wasn’t really expecting too much, but on admission you could see the big butterflies and big snails and the large flowers in the garden of delight and I was amazed what...More

Having been last night with four Grandcildren and two additions aged 6 down, I can say it was the first time and the last. Walking around a barely lit trail, with extortionately priced food and drink, ridiculous pretend animals that look nothing akin to the...More

Hi you get round all of it in a day , so a 2 day isn’t necessary, we were members and often just go for the afternoon / 3-4 hours and get round at least 3/4 to all of it , so a day is plenty .
