We ordered a range of food and none of it was good - everything over cooked, badly flavoured and dry. Incredibly disappointing - avoid: Beef short rib Chicken wings with peri peri (also, only 3 wings in a portion) Camembert bites Onion rings Buttermilk chicken...More

Joining some work colleagues for tea between work projects I joined them in The Ram. However initially I felt, I’m so glad I joined them as the atmosphere on a late afternoon was suitably quiet, the staff friendly and attentive and the tapas amazing! Huge-portioned...More

Unusual to find Sipsmith's. About 4 different gins, two tonics. Great atmosphere and we (3 women) felt happy and safe. Can't comment on the price as I didn't get the drinks in. Would definitely go again.

Popped in before a gig in O2. Ordered a "cheese board" which consisted of exactly 24 inch sized cheese pieces, a tub of honey and jam, all for £6.50. Could have bought a lump of cheddar. Beer choice ok but not great, disappointing as it's...More

Was showing the rugby on Saturday. Somewhat devoid of atmosphere to start as the downstairs area had been turned into a crèche (including the locking of the loo to avoid swinging doors hit little heads). Bar food a little bit iffy. Served in brown boxes.

Nice enough. Not a lot of room but that can't be helped. Could do with more of a cider range (you're in Bristol after all), or at least more local ones, and maybe consider charging a little less for them. Little bit overpriced but not...More

Like this place. Good choice of drinks. Very friendly / chatty staff. Nice and relaxed atmosphere - although we left just before the band was starting.
