We went to Rowsley station just for lunch as my husband loves the Rowsley burger that they do. There is a charity shop, gift shop and train rides to enjoy.

I took a ride down the line to Matlock and back and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was very slow in the cafe and the atmosphere wasn't as great as I would have hoped possibly due to political unrest in the group.

Went with my family as there was a special event on. We had a nice trip on a steam train in a 1925 carriage which was a privilege. Had a delicious meal in the cafe. Ice cream from the gift shop.
