You cross via the stepping stones from the main approach path from the car park, across to the east side, to allow you to continue north. Great care required as stones can be slippery: not ideal with a knee replacement!

Like the previous answers the left hand side is hard path. But even in October after a little rain the path was flooded so I would expect at the moment it would be too. Pack your wellies?
