The Bruce Mason Centre has taken a lead role in arts and entertainment on the North Shore. The centre hosts a wide range of family entertainment, ballet, dance, music and is the North Shore hub for the Comedy Festival.
What an awesome night! Venue was great and comfy and the show was hilarious as! Parking was no worries even in a packed show. I get to select a seat when I booked my tickets. Seats are cushioned and not those plastic seats.
Purpose built I know but a great venue to catch a show, well positioned seating with unobstructed views of the main stage. Seating is tiered steep enough so you don't have to sit up or stare between heads to catch the action. Bar is reasonably...More
An older place with a bit of character, and 'in house' bar (and I think snacks served?). Handy to a lot of eateries across the road or around the corner on Hurstmere Road. Parking also 5 minutes walk for events like this.

Went to see Game of Crones (Grumpy Old Women) and much to SWKE's (She Who Knows Everything) disgust I got front row seats, dead centre at that!!

We visit Auckland every couple of years (from the UK) to visit family. Today was our first time at the Bruce Mason Centre, to see a production of George's Marvellous Medicine. Spacious, light, bright,good acoustics and friendly, helpful staff. A great facility for the community.

The parking was easy but the lift was not working from the top floor of the parking building and a disabled person on our floor was put in a bad position having to get down the many flights of stairs .
