We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lloyd Elsmore Park is a great place. It includes sports-fields and courts for almost every type of sport- hockey, tennis, cricket, netball and so on. There is also a fun kid's park and outdoor water park. But the best bit for us is the undercover pools. There are pools for aquarobics, n unheated pool for training and a heated pool big enough for swimming and walking. It includes a fun area for littlies. In addition, there is a very popular spa pool. The undercover area includes an upstairs gym, a spin class and a room for group exercises. Outside the pool area is a cafe with coffee and cookies for sale. Also within the park is the Howick Historic Village, a fun place to visit with the family. This is a lovely greenbelt in the middle of East Auckland.

First to this park and to the mountain Raiders bmx track. Seems like there is a sports facility for everyone here. Well kept grounds, good parking.

Very poor. Free for the kids, but somehow not worth it. Seriously- drive past it and find somewhere else to swim.

Well worth a visit to see how early settlers lived on the land on arriving in NZ and how tough conditions were for them. Mostly “ fenciibles” ex military who were able to buy land and make their new life here.

Large park in East Auckland. The bulk of it is for sports including football, cricket, netball, hockey and others. It also has a few other things as well like lawn bowls, swimming pool/water park, a bike/skate park and of course the Howick Historical Village.
A really nice place to walk around.

The east of Auckland needs new pool facilities as the Lloyd Elsmore pools are very overcrowded, I have never swim in such a busy pool. Even early morning there will be three or four people in each lane of the lap and leisure pools. Go to any of the other pools within driving distance (Panmure, Papatoetoe) you'll find them much quieter in the morning.

The staff are friendly, the water is clean and the facilities are very good. The car park is huge but frequently completely full as are the pools!
