Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped in for Fish and Chips on Wednesday Aug 4 th . Best Fish n Chips I've ever had . Was welcomed by the owners who also own the Art Gallery , such talent . They also make there own ice cream , was too full from the amazing fish n Chips . Nice picnic tables with umbrellas for shade and dog friendly . Friendly folks who shared lots of knowledge of things to do and see in the area . The Crosby Greenhouse in Liverpool/Brooklyn NS they told us about was amazing . Looks like nothing from the front but behind is sculptures all through the forest , never seen anything like it . Thanks so much for the suggestion and it was free . Thank you again for the great meal and conversation. Stay well and much success in the future. Cheers !

I was really just taking a scenic drive on my way back to Halifax after meetings in Bridgewater. I went off the beaten path a bit and ended up in Blue Rocks where I immediately fell in love with the area. I started thinking about how great it would be to have this view everyday and almost drove right past. I noticed the sign announcing 'last food B4 Lunenburg' and decided I better grab a bite. No one else was around and it didn't even look like the food trailer was operating, so I walked into the gallery, where I met Donald. He's the owner and photographer, and we had a great talk about the real estate in the area, and just life in general. I'd love to just sit and talk with him for a while as I think he's got some pretty interesting stories. When I remembered what I came in for I asked about food, and while he made my hot dog, we continued to chat. Please, if you're through this area, take the drive, stop in for a visit, have some food and buy one of his fantastic photos. Anybody who adds bacon and cheese to a hot dog automatically is pretty good in my books!

We stopped over on a sunny day trip over to blue rocks. The owners were very friendly, they have quite the best spot around, their gallery is very nice and their food truck is even nicer ! don't miss their home made ice cream !

We were out exploring today and found this gallery and food establishment. Brisket on their menu attracted us to visit. The brisket was very tasty. The hamburger delicious. Fresh buns and the potato salad was great. We want to come back to try the ribs and Slovaki. Friendly service. And tried their watermelon homemade ice cream. Tasty.
Lovely photos in the gallery of many local scenes. Lots of old cameras to look at. If you are in Blue Rocks be sure to drop by.

We actually stopped here to pick up a quick lunch before heading to Mahone Bay for a boat tour. The woman working in the gallery came out to the food trailer and made us a couple of good hotdogs to go. While waiting on our food, we went in to the galllery. Her husband's photography is excellent, I am sorry we didn't spend more time here but if you are out that way admiring the scenery, do stop by.

Visited whilst holidaying in June 2015. Purchased several gifts including a stunning photo of the area. My girls also loved the ice creams we purchased while my husband thoroughly enjoyed a hot dog. An excellent place to pick up some local gifts with the added bonus of being able to purchase refreshments. Would definitely recommend a visit and woukd love to return one day.

On my trip to Nova Scotia to see the Peggy's Cove, I had the pleasure off stumbling across a great little art gallery This place was filled with a lifetime of creative photography and charcoal prints. Blue Hog Gallery - by the ocean, with scenic views, passing ships like the Blue Nose 2 and a food truck loaded with great lunches and snacks. It may not be a destination, but add it too your travel plans, you wont regret it.

After a great lunch at "Blue Hog Dogs" I felt like Arnold Schwarzenegger, "I'll be back".

Quaint gallery located in a beautiful area of Nova Scotia. Photography on stretch canvases, charcoal pictures, fibre arts, and stained glass fisherman/dory's embedded in rock, notecards and some artist's supplies all blend together to make this a sweet spot to stop in as you make your way to take some beautiful pictures in the Blue Rocks area.

There is a little food truck next to the gallery - I didn't really take note of the menu but it looked like a nice add on to the business.

These kinds of artsy places staffed with friendly people located along the shores of Nova Scotia only add to the charm of a great vacation experience.
