Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had heard of this park but had never gone before. It would be a great place to take a family for a picnic on the picnic tables and you can walk down to the shore. There’s a beautiful beach not far away. The day I was there it didn’t look like there were a lot of people, so I don’t believe many people go there.

I was looking for a nice scenic spot to have lunch and drove into this park for a look. Just a circular drive with picnic tables under trees scattered about. But park and take a walk down one of the paths to the water and absolutely beautiful. There was even a picnic table right on the edge of the beach. A wonderful place to relax, watch the boats, take a few pictures, pick up shells, rocks and soak it in.

Very quiet peaceful pleasant spot but be aware of the plentiful black-legged ticks. It would be best to use the picnic tables that are in the sunniest locations. Use a repellant containing icaridin and definitely do a tick check after visiting this spot. It is one of my favourite tick collecting sites. There are no tick habitat warning signs despite numerous requests to have one placed. Some local dog owners don't pick up after their pets.

Located on Hwy. 103 near Lunenburg. This park offers picnic tables scattered under a stand of spruce and fir. Here is also access to a cobble beach, while Mahone Bay is a popular paddling and fishing area. Do not miss to take your time and visit this wonderful park in Second Peninsula. Good spot for pictures. Family friendly.

we visit this park often. It has a beach where the kids swim and catch hermit crabs. It is also a picnic and a cook up area with tables and a dump station for barbacue coals. You can sit by the water and enjoy the sail boats as they pass by. Also treasures can be found on the beach. There are picnic tables and out door toilets near the road leading to the beach.

A pretty, little provincial park on a picturesque peninsula is a perfect spot for a picnic and stroll along the rock-strewn shore. It's amazingly peaceful but be aware that facilities are limited.

Hidden gem that is very quiet but friendly every time we visit. A rocky beach nice for quiet reflection, amazing view, picnic, rock hunting and bird watching.
