This is a good Japanese shrine to visit. But, above all, it's popular with the largest tree in Japan, Kamo no Kusu. - The tree at the entrance is also old and huge. It was big enough to make me consider as Kamo no Kusu....More

Really recommended not only for nature lovers. Tree is impressive and its empty inside :o However U cant go inside :D

This giant tree has been alive more than 1500 years.... You can feel mystical power from time immemorial. Actually I didn't know this spot even though I've been to Kagoshima many times, however this spot should have been familiar with all tourists. Also you can...More
