a great place to surf on the board, swim in large waves and any water activity. Wide clean beach, changing rooms, showers, parking near the beach. I would recommend !

This beach is located in Eastern Sydney and is less crowded than Bondi or Coogee. It has plenty of parking nearby. The beach is a long stretch of sand with rocky outcrops either side and a national park headland at one end. I have been...More

This beach is beautiful. Waves for the surfers, a park on the boardwalk, skate park and shops around. Lovely area and clean water.

The beach is beautiful, never too crowded. Plenty of local cafes. The walk from Lurline Bay down through North then South Maroubra is worth travelling to alone. One of Sydney’s best beaches, if not the best.

One of the best spots for photography in Sydney. It has everything - beach, rocks, cliffs, pools, waves. Anything you will ever need to shoot a beautiful sunrise. I go to this spot quite often and manage to create different shots every time.

For a city beach it is still fairly quiet and easy to park. You can always find a nice spot to sit and or swim. Large grass areas. Rock pools to the south, or nice north end clean aqua waves. Mahon pool is cute. Skate...More

Maroubra beach is a beautiful long beach that is surrounded by nature. Offering an amazing board walk, perfect waves and shops/cafes adjacent to the water. Highly recommend going for a solo day or a family/friend day out. It's far less crowded than Bondi
