Stand-Up Paddleboard Cultural Experience! I found Mauao Adventures (East Coast Paddler) experience to be both physical, fun and culturally insightful! Porina's tuition (I'm a SUP novice I might add) delivery was polished (it was clear she had a vast depth of SUP knowledge), and with a heavy emphasis on safety, I felt at ease throughout the 2+ hour experience. And I could tell from the experience too, that Porina's cultural knowledge of Tauranga Moana was extensive. All in all, an outstanding natural/cultural experience that I would recommend to almost all age-groups, but don't get me wrong, there's a knack to SUPs.
