really enjoyed wandering through the cottages, workshops and buildings settled in beautiful countryside. we had the added bonus of seeing some of the craftsmen from the "Repair Shop"

Visited Monday of Oct half term & loads of free kids activities. Very interesting place anyway and great for kids to run and explore, my iPad loving 7 year old had a great time.

Spent a wonderful afternoon here in brilliant autumnal sunshine. Excellent location, first class staff, memorable buildings and a calm atmosphere everywhere. We particularly loved the mill. So much to learn here.

Yes, the Museum and our cafe are both dog friendly! Please keep your pet on a lead at all times, as we have livestock and wildfowl.

I am sure that proof will not be needed but you always have the blue badge - your mother will need a wheel chair or similar to get round the largish site - a few houses are not so easy to get into as their is no wheel chair... More
