There was a group of four of us just need a something to fill the afternoon in we went open minded and found there was much more in this museum than what we expected well worth a visit and the tea rooms was excellent

What a lovely friendly museum to visit. Lots of interesting horsey exhibits with excellent signage. The coffee shop next door is also great. Well worth a visit even if you are not horsey.More

Myself and my friend took the trip on August Bank holiday Monday to the museum both being mad horse lovers buy sadly to find it closed, I checked the website and it said they were open Mondays and no mention of openings on a bank...More

Took my pony loving daughter to see the museum rather reluctantly and ended up amazed! The collection is extensive extremely diverse! They even have a saddle from the battle of the little Big Horn or Custers Last Stand! This is well worth a visit and...More

Located along the high street in an old coaching inn is a fantastic collection of horse equipment with lots of detailed side notes. The staff are very helpful and can provide more information about various items on show. I learnt a lot from my visit...More

Spent an excellent day out today with our Senior Citizens group and can't rate the "Museum of the Horse" too highly. Could easily have spent longer than an hour as there was so much to see and didn't expect to see such priceless items in...More
