Sunday lunch at this venue is an absolute must. It really is in the middle of nowhere but it’s well worth a visit. Food and atmosphere is everything we expected. Full marks to all the staff.

Magnificent Six course lunch for only $35 pp. Wild mushroom croquettes, chicken pâté, pork terrine, pork belly, wagu neck and golden syrup dumplings with ice cream. Our party of 10 struggled to get through all the food and were able to take some home.

I'd heard that the Bunyip Hotel was a gastro pub, with basic decor. The meal and surrounds matched this expectation. Very good food, and 5 or 6 courses for $35, plus about $20/head for a bottle of beautiful 8 year old pinot. We were replete...More
