WE were visiting my daughter and her husband for the weekend. We were staying in London but popped over to Kingston for the day. My daughter who's pregnant, didn't fancy cooking, so I checked on my Tastecard where we could eat for less. The Wagon...More

We found this barman to be most aggressive and when served by him he showed very little interest in customer service. When approached the bar he looked as if to say what do you want with no greeting or welcoming body language. We would never...More

We had a party here for my mum's 80th The place was excellent. We had ordered a mixture of food which all went down well. The pub is really nice with a lovely garden and the staff were brilliant. Top marks.

Spotted the Waggon & Horses walking from my HQ to the hotel, so thought let’s give it a try. Wow really lekker. Great service from the waiter did not catch his name but always attentive. Nice selection of lager and Ales and grabbed a burger...More

Next door. The owners, are great people. Staff is friendly and helpful. Large selection, not unexpected of alcohol. Food is great from pub grub to very good fish to grilled plates.

This thread should be ignored as comments relate to the old management. Visit the Waggon & Horses thread, i.e. without Surbiton in the title. We had a Christening Party here yesterday and had a fantastic time. Staff friendly, food excellent, prices good. Plenty to amuse...More

This is what you want from a local. Great selection of real ales, lagers and wines. Lovely open fire, comfy chairs and newspapers. Menu is basic but tasty. Homemade pizzas, pies and burgers.

Having this place as a local is how it must be having a self-destructive relative. It has a lot of potential but it seems determined to go bankrupt. After the last time we visited, when we waited 2 hours to be served some Thai food...More

Ordered Thai food tonight and it would not be an exaggeration to say that it must be one of the worst Thai foods I have tried here. The Jungle curry was watery with no taste at all, ingredients were not fresh and somewhat smelly and...More

Always hard to leave a bad review, but this place is poor. Ordered a selection of the Thai tapas: Thai scotch egg - over cooked with insipid Mayo, Vege spring rolls - tasteless and lacked filling, pandan chicken - dry and over cooked - weird...More

A lovely atmosphere and a gorgeous beer garden. The Thai street food here is out of this world and is not badly priced for what you get too. Would highly recommend. Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 as we did have to wait a...More
