Stunning views out to Matakana Island and across the water to the mainland. Walk to the top of the hill for more stunning views. Ideal place to picnic and spend the day. Even have a BBQ

The bay is quite shallow so very safe with young children. Great for kids with kayaks or inflatable boats. Lots of shade trees and several picnic tables. Freedom camping allowed and toilets in the area. This bay is a real gem!

A great reserve with walks and a variety of terrain. Anzac Bay is a lovely safe beach, sandy and great to swim in or fish off to relax.

The highlight for us here was walking up the hills to see the views of the surrounding areas. You can see up the coast to Waihi Beach and Bowentown and across to Mt Manganui. It is a steep walk but well worth it.
