About
Just when everything seemed to be falling into pieces, a small Cultural Center decided to transform the historical center of a town by dedicating it to art and culture. In this way, it gave the town a new identity in the present with the hope of a better future. The first six years of the Farm Cultural Park has created many opportunities and has engaged artists from around the world. This cultural center is home to an art gallery as well as other exhibition spaces where temporary painting exhibits and permanent contemporary art installations are set up. In addition, many cultural events are organized inside the Farm such as: book launches, musical events, festivals, workshops with young adults and children as well as competitions amongst architects. Farm Cultural Park has always been involved in many different cultural activities. Every year thousands of artists, designers, journalists and even visitors come here to share their experiences with others.

I am really proud of people that involved in this place creation/management.
This sort of park/museum is an innovation that needs to be comprehended and appreciated. It is quite pleasing!
My colleague and I found workers patient and willing with us.
The restaurant there is so lovely: typical tasty Sicilian food with the nicest staff in the town. I have to say thank you to the owner, because he had the idea of creating a modern but old Motel at the same time using his parents'house.
In my opinion, a tour guide that explains the real symbol of the place is the only thing that is missing.
Good job!

A little difficult to find, especially for those who don't know these areas, but once you turn the "corner" you are immediately captured by this colored tile structure. We are welcomed by a sweet and kind girl who explains a little about their artistic world. It is a small portion of a neighborhood in total decay that a group of kids have revived with their art, creativity and imagination, succeeding very well. With an entrance ticket of €9 you can wander around the courtyards of this small neighborhood and admire their creations. inside there is also a small bar if you want to refresh yourself. Congratulations guys, keep it up, you are the pride of us Italians. If you are in Agrigento, travel a few kilometers further and come to Favara to see this wonder. Absolutely recommended

This is a great example where a good initiative can help a whole town. The people there are enthusiastic and seem to have a community.
It appears to be working in helping rejuvenate a deserving town.
The various galleries and installations will polarise, but that's good and there should be something there for everyone.
Recommended if only as a contrast and to support a worthwhile endeavour.

After being ecstatic by the evening visit yes temples of Agrigento, made with a very good and prepared Guide, the following afternoon, intrigued by the conflicting opinions read on the Favara Cultural fare we decided to visit it.
It was not easy to find the neighborhood where it is settled, as it is located in the historic center of Favara, and the few indications are almost close to the Farm where we do not recommend arriving by car because of the streets too narrow and intricate. After realizing the absence of a dedicated parking space, we decided to leave the car in a main street of the city and go on foot. At the entrance of what should be the main courtyard of the farm there was only one guy (as well as the only representative of the whole farm) who briefly explained the project and told us that to visit the Exhibition concerning the positive and negative aspects of Sicily that was hosted inside we would have to pay a ticket. However, he invited us to look at the neighborhood first from the outside and so we did. The impression I had is that of a beautiful idea that unfortunately has not turned into a reality concretely attractive and usable by tourists. The houses are semi abandoned, stinks and stray cats everywhere, garbage and urban decay. The inhabitants of the neighborhood themselves were annoyed by the presence of tourists peering into the farm houses. I felt the total lack of a serious organization. If there was the chance, we would have gladly paid a Guide to accompany us on this tour but we were left to ourselves. It is a missed opportunity for the city of Favara and for the whole of Sicily. We hope that the reviews will prompt the promoters and citizens of Favara to reactivate them to improve the organization.

We arrive in Favara after visiting the Agrigento area, we book a room inside the Farm so that we can fully enjoy its beauty. Almost non-existent reports, we ask around to get there and to park the car. We arrive in the room we go down we look around, everything is unkempt, everything is closed and we leave immediately, maybe the idea was good at the time but now only that remains. More desolation total

Like a cathedral in the desert it was a pleasant discovery in a day visiting Favara to buy typical products. Not knowing its existence we are directed by locals, we arrive late and we can see only one of the many redevelopment projects. Nice. We decide to return on August 14, but despite arriving on time we find closed because on August 14 practically a place like this closes at 18! All not marked on the sites. The idea behind it is splendid, innovative but... you can taste a total disconnect from the local reality (no reporting in the city), in short, as the title of the project says... everything else is missing!

Even though it had been recommended to me by a friend in whom I have absolute trust, when I arrived in Favara I had slight doubts... it is in fact a modest town and decidedly far from the tourist routes, teeming with closed places and uninhabited houses... but once I arrived in Farm I found myself in front of a true oasis in the desert. Already from the outside it strikes and stimulates, and stands out in abundance among the decadent town. The exhibitions inside were interesting, well curated and set up with great taste and competence. An absolute note of merit to the Human Forest, unique, regenerating, amazing. Overall it's worth a trip.

An incredible contemporary art and architecture project in a complicated country. I absolutely recommend visiting all the spaces and if you can, to fully enjoy the experience, stop and sleep in one of the BnBs in the seven courtyards, have an aperitif at the Basta Bar and make friends with the locals. They are fantastic.

Beautiful place that revalued part of the old town! If all Favara were so, it would be a jewel!!!
Also the visit of the Miccicchè palace is worth. Recommendation to take a single ticket for both seats. We were wrong not to take it immediately so we paid another full admission.

Waste of money and time.
Absolutely don’t go: the exhibitions are confusing and badly kept.
Everything looks tired and in need of being refurbished or fixed.
I was very excited to go and I was left so upset after having paid €14 for this.
Not worth it.
