Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Kauri Cliffs might have a monopoly on the mantle of stunning golf courses in this part of the world, but The Pines will provide all the visual rewards and none of the angst that the former does for golfers on greater than single figure handicaps. Nestled as it is in the lee of Parua Bay, it combines short par 3s with testing par 4s and par 5s, and although it isn't long, there are more than enough lateral hazards and interesting design quirks to keep it interesting. I won't bore you with the details... suffice to say you need to see it for yourself.
We finished our 3 day trip for 11 wandering golfers there, and the boys were blown away by its beauty and playability. At $25 for affiliated golfers, and $20 for all golfers on a Saturday it also happens to be an absolute bargain. Ben the Manager was exceedingly gracious as our host, and even turned his hand to produce stunning toasted sammies when 11 hot pies just weren't enough to feed the masses.
I can't say enough about this course... A must visit on this part of the world! Hopefully the pictures will do it justice.

Beautifully kept golf course with lovely water views. We hired a cart and played the back nine on a sunny autumn afternoon, and enjoyed a glass at the clubhouse after. Friendly manager who was very helpful. We will be back

I throughly enjoyed this course, it was challenging enough and definitely a shotmakers dream. Playing along the shores on this South Pacific vacation, this one will be remembered. I want to say that Ben was a very pleasant and professional gentleman that was eager to help with whatever you may need.
