This beautiful old bridge has been recently renovated. All the ancient charm has been removed. It is hardly recognizable as old and looks like it might have just been bought at IKEA and assembled where the old bridge was. Very disappointing!!

The bridge is beautiful especially in the light of the late day. It leads into a quaint town with colorful and attractive buildings.

Nice little town, and a lovely walk down from the train station. Small enough to walk around and take in the relaxed atmosphere.

When we went the bridge had been newly repaired. It still is cute but from the pictures I have seen it was way cuter before. I assume after being exposed to the weather for some time it will regain it's charm

The church is in the centre of the village. It is not that big, but well maintained. The smal garden attached to it is nice. When you are in town and interested in churches, then you should visit it. The atmosphere inside was ok.

The famous bridge is being repaired. At the moment there was a steel replacement over the river Doub. However, the old city is still full of charm. It is small and can be discovered on foot.

We came here to visit the church mainly. We had a great guide, she told us many stories from the history between 700 and 1800. Many things of the church we would never have noticed.

Centuries old stone bridge currently being repaired was the entrance to the old fortified town. Wonderful town that time seems to have passed by. Don't miss the church and the cloister. Both are magnificent.

While the bridge is what most come to visit the real highlight in St-Ursanne is the church! A witness to past wealth linked to the bridge, it will surprise you.
