A terrible road in , only suitable for 4wd. But what a spectacular experience. Cathedral Gorge and echidna chasm walks were manageable by us elderly folks -easily. The drive is incredibly scenic. Great day.

Fantastic. If you get a chance go there. Allow yourself plenty of time to look around. Track out to there is terrible and there is a couple of creek crossings.

Reasonable park fee of $13 a car, extremely rough drive in. Road windy but not impossible for a 4wd. Astounded that travellers took their rented combi style 2wd van into the park.

Wonderful magical place... Highly recommend, the rocks are breathtaking, walks are easy but well worth it. Echidna gorge especially... Though the cathedral walk is also phenomenal.

Kingfisher Tours, a great flight in, out and round about the area with a small band of 4 fellow travelers. 4WD trip was well organised, with brunch and afternoon tea very much appreciated, filling the gap well and truly. But most of all the trip...More

We loved the Bungles. It's every bit as iconic as they told us. The advice in the guide books is correct; viewing the Bungle Bungle from the air is the only way to get a true sense of the vastness of the range. Making the...More

Yes, you do need a parks pass which can be obtained at the ranger's station/visitors centre in the park.
