Were passing by to visit the castle and stopped to check it out!Cute Middle Ages Themed market with jewelry, leather goods, swords and shields and much more!Also food beer and open sitting area available!

Food, booths, music and dancing all to a middle age theme. Actors wonder about the crowds to add a little more atmosphere.

Sintra is Lisbon's mountain retreat. Just 30 minutes by train out of Lisbon and you are in a quiet and beautifully scenic town with great attractions ranging from street sculptures through one of the most bizarre estates you will ever tour to a stunning pasteleria

Visited Sinatra by using train from Lisbon. Short easy trip. Loved the local shops, market and wonderful hidden restaurants beautiful castle

Stopped here on while on a day tour of Lisbon & neighboring cities. Found several lovely stores with local products for the both the touristy & the more discriminating buyers. Plus on the walk up the hill there were some artists selling their own wares....More

If you want to pick up something local like the tiles or a souvenier this is the place. Shops and restaraunts proliferate and the staff are attentive without being pushy.
