Having usually headed from Manchester to the more commonly known Formby and Crosby, a colleague put me onto this gem. £2 to park all day, beautiful beach and a great cafe on the junction, this place is fantastic
Beautiful beach , great views and great for walkers , or horses , not quiet at weekends but not to over crowded , could only find steps down so not the best for disabled, would visit again , recommend.

Thurstaston Beach is great for walks.
There are some fantastic views across to North Wales.
Lots of bench’s and picnic tables near The Visitor Centre on the cliffs.
There is a cafe near the beach which has outside seating.
