This ostrich farm is nothing else but a slaughter house for ostriches ! they raise the animals and they end up being killed for their skin and meat .

We visited this Ostrich farm whilst on a classic car run and enjoyed it very much. They have a shop selling lots of items made from Ostrich eggs feathers etc. and a coffee shop where you can sit and look out over the Ostrich pens. They have birds of all ages from tiny babies to fully grown adults and you can buy a ticket for an organised tour. If however you just want to see the birds you can go through to the coffee shop and then wander out the door there to the pens as most people appeared to be doing. The farm is well off the beaten track but the address for your sat nav is Hogeweg 1, Sluis.…

Called in today but found it was closed except weekends. They were getting ready for their anniversary on the weekend but still let us have a look in some of the fields of ostriches and then explained a lot about the farm and ostriches to us whilst we looked around the shop. Will have to come back again on a weekend and see the rest later in the year. Very interesting though what we did see and friendly staff/owner who took the time out from lunch to chat to us. …

between Oostburg and Sluis a nice farm with friendly people who can tell all about the ostrich.they als have a nice shop were you can buy hughes eggs and lovly fethers this ia must vist place for family with children.

If you have the opportunity to visit this place, do it. It's fun to learn, it doesn't take that long and you see and learn alot in a short period.
