Great windmill at Sarre which you can't miss coming from any direction. Delightful to look around and is I believe still one the few working windmills about. Has a great coffee/tea shop and you can buy the goods produced here. Well worth popping in when...More

Passed by briefly as part of the WW2 Sarre walking trail (see Google). Nice windmill in a welcoming village. Would recommend as part of the trail.

Well worth stopping to see if passing through. You will also find this if you are following the public foot path around Sarre. A quaint little Kent village, close to the South Coast resorts.

Apparently no longer open, the person who answered the phone was extremely rude, cutting me off before I had a chance to say goodbye!

Sarre windmill is a working mill and you buy the flour from the shop below the windmill. There is also a tea room where you can get a nice cream tea, sandwiches or snacks

This is a nice place to visit for an afternoon as there is not enough there to entertain you for more than an hour, but i have to say that their cakes and tea was wonderful. So worth going just for that.
