After a long awaited treat, we HAD to dive at the famous Poor Knight's Islands - Rated as one o the top-ten dive sites around the world, so we had to make sure we will invest our money properly. Finding two companies which dived in the area, we preferred going with the one which advertised itself as family-run, rather than... More

Good experience as far as adventure went. Best suited for the experienced diver with personal gear. Knowledgeable staff worked well with inexperienced divers. A bit of a mobile seat-of-the pants operation without an office on site at Tutukaka. Would recommend more for diving than snorkeling.

Yukon Dive is a smaller operation and therefore has a more intimate atmosphere among divers and staff. My instructor was very responsible to look into each of our personal levels and needs, and took great care of each step of our diving process. As I am only a beginner diver she also advised me on how to improve my skills... More

I did a 2 day liveaboard with Yukon in late April. The dive sites are out of this world and every diver should make the Poor Knights on their bucket list. The boat - the Pacific Hideaway is a small liveaboard vessel, I'd describe the accommodation as backpacker style - basic but all that you need. I had one of... More

The trip did not start out well with some sloppy customer service causing us issues, but they did in fairness rectify it partly for us,so I will not go into detail. We did eventually get on for our three day livaboard. The good was the diving was excellent and the boat skipper ensured we dived the best sites we could.... More

I finished my tour of New Zealand with three days scuba at poor Knights. What a highlight. Yukon Dive are a two boat, Poor Knights specialist dive company - and you simply could not beat them on any level. Good kit to hire, friendly, helpful and spectacularly knowledgeable. The skipper of the smaller boat is a naturalist a published book... More

My partner and I are keen divers, although we did not have the best of weather on our visit to the Poor Knights we were not disappointed. The islands are magical, the soft corals are fabulous. What also made this trip fantastic were the enthusiastic and friendly guides and captain whose enthusiasm was utterly infectious. We can't wait to come... More
