New Zealand (as I keep telling people) is more than Middle Earth and Lord of the Rings and Hobbits (although 'Second Breakfasts are always welcome'.) Dive! Tutukaka was recommended to me by friends as soon as I said I wanted to dive at Poor Knights...More

A must do in New Zealand if you love the ocean. Incredible experience for diving, snorkeling or SUP lovers. During summer visibility reach 30m+ and plenty of tropical fishes and plants to see.

I was debating a 3 or 4 star rating, should be 3.5, but rounded it up. Dive is a massive operator sending out two boats to the pour knights islands, just 30ish minutes off the coast of Tutukaka. Check in was smooth and all gear...More

The dive boats leave as close to 9am as possible - but there is a snorkel trip that leaves at 11am - were you wanted a dive, or happy to snorkel, kayak and stand up paddle board?
