Elephants made to perform shows underwater for entertainment of others, small enclosures, animals do not generally look happy. Would never go here again and we left after about 45 minutes as we were so appalled

I was disgusted with the treatment of animals at this zoo. Teaching our children to see animals in this environment and to be poked and prodded and forced to do unnatural things is not something we should be proud of. The elephants in fish tank...More

Perfect place to spend a day with children. If you are able to visit this zoo on own or rented car, it will be the best choice!

First time to go Khao Kheow Open Zoo. So much fun and good weather.

I went to the zoo after zipline. I like how we can get so close to the animals and even touch them and feed them. The area was big but you can rent a golf car to drive around the zoo.
