Khao Kheow Open Zoo, for over 32 years, has been a cherished resource located in Chonburi Province .The zoo encompasses over 2,000 acres of the Khao Kheow-Khao Chom Puo Wildlife Sanctuary. The zoo grounds are divided into animal habitats (400 acres), public recreational areas (200 acres) and research area (1,400 acres) which is used for the breeding of various endangered species. It is the first zoo in Thailand to become a member of WAZA .

If you want to be very close to wild animals without any dangerous, this zoo is your place, exept big cats and poison reptiles, of course. To take a picture with pink framingo or funy monkey, to fittind elephant or hypo,to peting cute small goats.......More

I went there with the whole family and we all had so much fun.At Khao Kheow Open Zoo there’ll be plenty of picture-taking and we were also allowed to feed some of the animals. The gentler animals like the deer were allowed to roam freely....More

Basically it's an "open" zoo, where you'd actually drive your car around to each animal(s) viewing station. You can also hire a golf cart which would add the fun to your visit. What you should be aware of in this zoo are the wild monkeys!...More

I’m not sure what you mean by tents... it’s just a zoo. And not sure wether they Actualy have a website to book. Majority of day trips in pattaya are booked through a travel guide ( generally on the streets ) or day tour... More

Would suggest taking a passport with you. That’s what we used.

Hi, it will take you 2 hrs from Silom to the zoo, than you need around 5 hrs to spend at the zoo and than 2 hrs to go back home , plus breaks for lunch and coffee, it’s gonna be a little tiring day but worth it
