About
Mariager Museum is established in a cosy merchant's house, 300 years old, in the centre of the old convent town. The collections of the museum originate from the areas south of the inlet of Mariager Fjord and include a grocery store from the 1930ies, a unique barber's shop, a row of living rooms including a peasant's living room from the end of the 18th century as well as kitchen utensils from three centuries. In addition, you will find minor exhibitions on the church and convent of Mariager and of local peasants' clothes.

I liked very much the salt bath, the museum and the church.
Museum is really nice,& educativ.
The exposed objects are very nice, old, starting fro years 1940, but don't expect anything ancient.
The combined tour boat-bus-old train tour worse to make it, but is not too impressive.
First step, the boat windows were extremely dirty and was impossibly to make an online or via phone booking. Finally I just went to the boat and they accepted to buy a ticket there.
The old train was really nice (not very, but decently clean). The images you could see on trip, were nothing special, just everage Danish landskapes
