Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We love the Oxford Market open all year but can get fairly sparce in the winter. There's a good selection of shops and eateries although at one rustic coffee shop they tried to charge us extra for chocolate in a mocca. Beware of that scam. there is another along he coast north of Kaikoura who tried that; otherwise, it's well worth a visit.

It was great to get into the country and explore the sites of Oxford.
The stalls are well presented and some delightful treats to choose from.
All the stall holders were very friendly, it was a very cold day but everyone was in good spirits.
I would recommend this to all and is a perfect way to see rural new Zealand.

Not exactly doing our national obesity rates any good, but I guess we can all promise to start our diets tomorrow. Worth hanging out your tongue to see what attracts you. Plenty of interesting selections to enjoy.

Held on Sundays between 9am and 12pm. Small market with local produce. Definitely worth popping in for a quick wander about. There is also other crafty/arty shops in Oxford plus some very good cafes.

Rural markets are quite new to me and found this one very interesting with its various stalls and friendly people manning them. A good local attraction. (Although I live in NZ it was my first-ever visit to Oxford and found it to be a nice wee rural town). Would return.

Over all ok. But maybe it's because Oxford people have less pending power.. Just a very average market. Ohoka..nearby on Fridays is lot better and more vibrant. Some same traders.. But many say won't go to Oxford as no reliable level of business.

Not that great although admittedly we arrived near the end. Some interesting food stalls but overall a bit underwhelming

Always happy to support people who come from out of town in all weathers and sell good products! Sadly no bread at the moment, hopefully that will change . . .

Interesting range of stalls with a good variety of products. Opportunities to taste products before purchasing too. Sited in a field on the main street every Sunday morning. U
