We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautifully tidy and clean, welcoming guides, loads of things to look at. You would not know from the street and photos are not permitted, so take my word from it. The best small town museum and certainly the best for a donation.

A well maintained, well staffed lovely little town museum! Full of interesting trinkets and memorabilia from the region over the last 100 or so years! Only negative is the bowling balls with swastikas on them, they might want to consider removing these.

They not long ago added additions to the museum and boy, was that worth it. It is a museum that grabs my interest and keeps hold of it until I leave.

This museum has expanded into a big shed at the back so that they can better display the artefacts they've got on show.
Don't try and do this museum seriously in less than an hour.

Heard all about it from many people then finally managed to get there myself. One could easily spend hours there. All sorts of memorabilia to muse over. Congratulations to all the many hard working volunteers. Make sure you top up their donations box on exit.

We had a wonderful surprise the day we popped in to see what the museum was like,we found the volunteers incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The displays were well presented, we actually thought we would only be in there for maybe half an hour, however we spent a wonderful two hours there. The museum certainly presented the history of Oxford and locality well, who would have thought the area was so rich in history!

We were surprised by the array of exhibits. Very eclectic but also a good account of local history. My daughter loved having a go on the model train set.

Came here while staying with relatives. Excellent displays both old and modern and it's obvious that the local volunteers love what they do by the way the museum is looked after. The vehicles from bygone years are kept immaculate and the locals love to tell you about the history of Oxford which makes it personal and very interesting. A definite "go to" on travellers lists.

Friendly staff greet you as you enter. They loved to share their local knowledge, they made you feel as if you were a local. The exhibit was well organised.
