A restored monastery could go either way, this was a beautiful find. Beautiful drive, lots of unexpected historical significance, and just the right amount of restoration. Also not crowded so one can enjoy. Don't miss the relics and the crypt. The overall experience-well worth it.

Lovely building in a superb setting. Not much info about Carlos one of the most famous kings of Spain. The setting is superb. However the plae had its toilets locked in the heights of summer! Bagnos/Aseos cerrados en Julio???! Que desastre
