My wife and I were here on a day tour ("Three Countries in one Day" - please read my review of the tour) out of Barcelona. This was the first stop. This is a beautiful church, although we couldn't go inside, so basically, the tour...More

Stopped in this medieval town on our way to Andorra. St. Esteve de Baga is the parish church of the town, built between the 14th and 15th centuries. Took a peek inside and looked very medieval with the stone walls. Placa Galceran de Pinos is...More

I was not able to go inside the church; it may not have been open to the public at the time. But the exterior stonework of the church is very attractive and the bell tower is impressive. The immediate nearby area of this medieval town...More

I took a day trip from Barcelona that stopped in Baga. This church was part of the tour. Everything in Baga is old and beautiful and this church was a pleasure to see.

Stopped here as part of a tour. Very quaint town. Quiet in June. Worth a stop. So much history in the town and church. Got coffee in a bar, and it was certainly a local place-coffee and liquor were both being served before noon.

Baga is one of many charming small villages/towns scattered throughout Catalonia. Baga was founded in the 9th century when the area was re-populated by Wilfred the Hairy ... which i guess also makes him the town founder?? With a population of roughly 2000, it is...More

Nice church in the old town of Bagà (Berguedà). It has a transition style from Romanesque to Gothic (s.XIV-XV).

Bagà is a small city, very cozy and beautiful. The church is located in the center, and composes a nice scenario with the buildings and nature around it
