Our GPS sort of led us astray on this one and it can be a little difficult to get to. Kind of a weird layout but to be expected given its history. Exhibits seemed to be in a bit of disrepair when we were there...More

We need to be glad to have the Museum but it is time to expand and reach a level that is appropriate for Germany's state aviation Museum. It needs to reach a Smithsonian level of a Museum and it is may be 25% of the...More

The museum has a good flow from where aviation started to some of the more modern fighters. This is not the biggest aviation museum I have visited, but if you have not visited a large aviation museum before this is worth a visit.

Not a great avaition museum, just a few civil aircraft on display , didnt even take any pictures. 8€ admission + 1€ for the locker, no bags allowed in the museum. Its a fair walk from the train station . Not worth visiting really .

Visited on a Sunday morning in November. Free parking onsite but there is an entry fee (15 euro for the entire family). Exhibits were plentiful with some interesting aircraft, and even some info on rockets. Easy accessible from Munich if you have a car.

Even if you are not an aircraft enthusiast, this museum offers exhibits from the early times of flying to space rockets for all ages. There are quite a few attractions for children and adults alike. Better still combine it with a tour through Unterschleißheim Palace.

Was a very interesting place to visit for anyone interested in Aircraft History, or in flight in general. Went Solo as I was more into flight than my partner that was more interested in the Schloss down the street. Aircraft ranged from early gliders to...More

I've visited some good air museums in the UK (e.g. IWM Duxford and RAF Hendon) and this is of a similar standard, if a little more manageable as it's smaller. Easy to park, and not expensive. Some great planes that I haven't seen in the...More
