This park was once a great place to visit, unfortunately Derby City Council have felt the need to build on a green belt site! I'm sure they could have found more appropriate places to build on. instead of destroying a lovey park!

We visited this morning so that my little girl could play with her scooter on the skate park and she loved it. We then went for a cooked breakfast at the friendly Waterside Cafe before scootering some more.

Grew up using this park regularly. great open space, lake to wander round and other useful amenities. Worth a visit.

I took both my children to see Santa and joined the back of the queue to be told he was on a break. Then after nearly an hour I get to the front of the queue and Santa needed another break!!! By now the queue...More

Park at pride park (for free) and then walk along the Derwent passing the bird sanctuary, its very scenic and the park especially last weekend in the snow was fabulous.

Lovely park easily accessible from town by the Riverside path, the 1 or 4 bus routes and by car. In the snow was a great place to play or build a snowman. The highlight is the lake which is a haven for waterfowl. See Canada...More

A great place to visit, can park up and walk to Elvaston castle or just use the park's facilities, everything from play area to BMX bike track.

it s about a mile and a half.You can walk near pride park by the river.
