Lovely place, people who really love animals

We came on a rainy afternoon and the park was closed. But, the staff were very kind and allowed us in any way! We enjoyed learning about the important stork project, saw the owls and turtles up close. Lovely place. Thanks for having us!

The Storks are back!
Jun 2019 • Couples
Really enjoyed our day out at the Oasi Cervara.
Arrived there by bike from the centre of Treviso with the recently completed cycling path.
The main attraction of the bird sanctuary is the stork breeding program they have been carrying on for years.
It was great to watch a recently hatched stork being fed and to learn many interesting facts regarding their behavior.

This nature park is amazing and well worth a visit. The park is small and therefore great for children or those who cannot walk far. The staff were really welcoming and made me and my Mum feel very much at home. It felt like we had a personalised tour from the director who explained in English for our tip. We saw many different types of wildlife here as well and the habitats were all very natural. We also were welcomed to watch the owl display where we saw Phoebe the tawny owl, the barn owl and the long eared owl. There were numerous wildlife hides to sit in and watch nature, binoculars recommended. We saw storks, kingfishers, otters, owls, great spotted woodpeckers, jaybirds, many ducks, the tortoises and herons to name a few.
Although the park has limited opening times, I would recommend visiting to any nature and wildlife lovers to spend a day or afternoon here and therefore contributing to this parks conservation for the future.
Thank you for a lovely trip here.

Great experience!
Jun 2019
The park is really looked after and the staff seem to really care about every particular. The people working there are really prepared and give incredible lessons for both kids and adults about caring of animals and nature. There are a lot of activities, for example every Saturday there is a owl experience or for the months of June and May there are shiatsu lessons every weekend.
Inside the park is present also a bar where you can have lunch or take a break.
One of the most beautiful oasis in Veneto!

An interesting park for a quiet afternoon

A lovely little nature park with friendly, accomodating staff (the manager gave explanations in English at a couple of the attractions, essentially just for us).
The trails are well maintained and the sites are sufficiently close to hold the attention of small children. Most of the area is wooded, providing a little bit more cool during a hot summer's day. Given the large amount of water around, mosquito repellant is recommended!

Some of the attractions such as the tortoises, and storks will be visible during any visit, the owl show is in the afternoon around 16.30 and the rest is up to luck as this is a reserve rather than a zoo!
The park is only open in the afternoon during the week, and all day in the weekend, where more of the sites are open (the visitors' centre was closed during our week day visit). Note that the vast majority of signage is in italian only, but this is not a major impediment to enjoyment.

Really engaging experience

Unique nature park in the animals natural surroundings. Natural home to storks, king fishers, herons, owls, foxes, and a lot of other interesting animals, as well as tortoises, reptiles and snakes on display. The surroundings are beautiful as well - vegetation is kept down, but not groomed too much, so you get the sense of wild nature.
Employees really interesting to talk to, and engaging. The shows are in italian by default, but ask them to translate to english and there is no problem.
We talked a lot with the places manager, who ended up translating the eagles show to english as a service to us and another nonitalian family.
All in all a little gem if you want a break from beautiful italian cities.

this a nature reserve not a zoo!! So enjoy and be patient!!

Amazing place and such a great find. Am told this is a community owned place so all the money made through entrance goes to the upkeep of the place. However, make sure you bring cash as they don’t accept cards. We made this mistake after a long cycle ride (and the nearest ATM was not working) though the people who work here are very accommodating and so helped with the few coins we had.
The world needs more places like this ... so if you are in the area, travelling through etc be sure to stop in.
Please note this a nature reserve not a zoo!! So patience and, though we did, don’t always expect to see animals

WONDERFUL NATURAL PARK
May 2015 • Couples
We stopped here during a bike tour in the Treviso area, along the Sile river. We had a good lunch at the restaurant and spent some time walking around. The park is really beautiful and the people who manage it are very enthusiastic and take even care of baby storks. If you happen to be in this area, make a stop, it is really worth doing!
